The Alaska Railroad and Magic Bus are available when you book your 26 Glacier Cruise. Whichever you choose, you'll get to Whittier in comfort as you pass through the breathtaking scenery of the Alaska's Turnagain Arm and Portage Valley.
If you prefer to drive your own vehicle, please allow 1.5 hours to drive from Anchorage to the Whittier Tunnel staging area. We recommend the 11:30am tunnel opening, which is open for 15 minutes and no later than 11:45am.
