Getting to Whittier

Whittier is located approximately 60 miles southeast of Anchorage, perched on a protective harbor in Prince William Sound and bordered by the majestic Chugach Mountains. Under 200 residents live here year-round, except in the summer when the population more than doubles with cruise boat and fishing industry employees.
